Masterpiece live album telling QUEEN's last “THE MAGIC TOUR” appeared. It is a masterpiece audience recording of “August 3, 1986 in Madrid”.
It is also known that this day was disturbing. There was a dispute between the members before the show, and the backstage was so rough that the dressing room was destroyed. Freddie shouted, "I can't continue anymore. This tour is over!" What was the position of such a performance in Madrid? First, let's look at the whole picture of “THE MAGIC TOUR”.

・ May 11: GOLDEN ROSE POP FESTIVAL
<< June 3 "A KIND OF MAGIC" released >>
・ June 7-July 2: Europe # 1 (12 performances)
・ July 5-16: UK (5 performances)
・ July 19-August 5: Europe # 2 (8 performances) ← ★ here ★
・ August 9: Knebworth Performance (Last Show)

[Name recording that lets you experience the end of sound with great sound]
This is 1986 QUEEN. Official videos such as “LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM” and “HUNGARIAN RHAPSODY” are also left from this tour, but this performance in Madrid is later. It was the 7th concert of “Europe # 2”, the third from the end. Brian later said, “Freddie can’t do anything anymore. “I was hurting !!” I recall, “I didn't take it seriously because I always said it at the end of the tour.”
Anyway, that was an event before the performance. This work is not a backstage, but a live album of the main part of the show. And that quality is the biggest point. It must be an audience recording that inspires real enthusiasts, but the essential performance sounds and singing voices are neat and powerful. “ESTADIO DEL RAYO VALLECANO” is an open-style soccer stadium that does not have walls or ceilings that resonate the sound. PA output sound reaches straight through the clear space. Of course, no matter how open it is, the sound is swayed by the wind, and if there is a sense of distance, there is no original or child, but this work is useless. Although it has not been communicated to the detailed recording position, the performance sound is much closer than the huge enthusiasm, whether it was very close to PA or plenty of direct feeling. “THE MAGIC TOUR” is short but known as a mass production area for famous recordings. Therefore, although it cannot be said to be the apex, it is a name recording that would have been immediately pressed for other tours.

[Yokozuna Sumo show where professional nature explodes]
The show drawn with that sound is unbelievable the backstage brawl described above. I don't say "The best explosion in 1986!"け れ ば If Freddie's essentials seem to be enjoyable from start to finish and have a long relationship, you can feel the enthusiasm of enlarging if you like Spanish MC. The symbol “Mustapha” that can not be heard in official Hungary and Wembley. I just sing before “Who Wants to Live Forever”, but if the free vocalization that grows well is wonderful, the appearance of singing “Heeeey! Hey, hey !!” is also hot. Unexpectedly, why is this far before the moist “Who Wants to Live Forever”? It ’s full of motivation.
It ’s not just Freddie. Brian is well into the show, including the riff of “Chinese Torture” which will be recorded in “THE MIRACLE” later in the guitar solo. And two of the rhythm teams that support them are powerful. Although it doesn't rush to explode, its massive beat is powerful and it is a majestic of 100 battles. Roger's shout is also crisp. Is it a hot performance to blow off the irritation before the performance, or is this the professional root of QUEEN? Anyway, it is a show like the Yokozuna Sumo that pushes with profoundness and fulfillment.

QUEEN in August 1986, which was in the countdown state toward the end. It is a live album where you can enjoy the unbelievable impassioned performance with superb sound, while still having a disturbing anecdote. A great masterpiece of the summer of 33 years ago. Please enjoy yourself carefully.
