Greg Brooks archive news May 8th. 2004

Greg told us that archive cd's (box) is on hold. He couldn't give more details info when these demo, out-takes & studio work recordings from the archive will be released.
Right now Queen Production (Roger, Brian & Jim Beach etc...) are busy with the musical, which are set up in various countries. This is one of the reasons why archive stuff are on hold.

'Milton Keynes 1982' will be released on DVD in Oct./Nov. this year. That's 99% sure. FULL concert + bonus. Not sure of bonus stuff.

Greg play the following tracks/items for us in 2004. All tracks working tracks, alternatives etc.....

Great King Rat   backing tracks, no lead vocal included.
Brighton Rock     early version, little bit vocal.
Flick Of The Wrist    backing tracks, instrumental - no vocal.
Tenement Funster     guitar & drums overdubs
In The Lap Of The Gods....revisited    Freddie's piano slave. Freddie & Mike Stone in studio.
Flight From The Inside    different take, roger vocal, a bit different lyric, actually very close to original.
Instrumental 'un-known' track          Jazz session, early work on a track, (I guess).
Somebody To Love           section 2 & 3, un-used parts from multi track tape. Time 1:30 minute.
You Take My Breath Away       Freddie on piano & vocal. Intro only( original). Freddie & Mike Stone in studio only.   
Sister     early version of  'sail away sweet sister', instrumental only-no vocal. 

Question: Are there long version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' ?
Answer: NO, there are NO long version of that song. There is ONLY some part of vocal & guitar bites etc., which has NOT been used. These parts are on separate tapes, which many track are in a studio session work.
