From the last concert on the 1984 'The Works' tour. This is a well known concert on bootlegs over the years. Handful of titles available on cd's & Lp's. This is part 1 of the concert. Part 2 available on same label & title Vol 2, on 2 LP. Queen ended 'The Works' 1984 tour with 6 concert in Sun City, South Africa. Actually I'm a bit unsure of the number of concerts which actually was done. But, 6 concerts is known to done, according to the information I've found. I know that more concerts was planned, but some was cancelled do to various reasons. Freddie also get some throat problems, some days there. Limited vinyl edition release. Sale price as new was around UK £ 18,-. NOTE: As far as I know, this concert has NEVER been broadcast on any radio station, as the information on the cover claims. |
