I'm actually a bit unsure of this 2lp. Queen Production released
worldwide this July 12th 1986 concert complete on 2CD, 2LP and DVD
in 1992. This 2LP claiming to be from a radio live broadcast from
the day the concert was hold. As far as I know, there was NO direct
live broadcast of this concert. A radio
broadcast was done, but that was some time later,
and not so many songs included as this 2LP .
Channel 4
broadcasted a 90 minute version called 'Real Magic' on television
some month later. A VHS video was officially released in 1987,
contain more than less this 'Real Magic' edited television version. I have
a VHS video recording of the TV broadcast, and the officially VHS
tape. Queen did 2 concert at Wembley on this 'A Kind Of Magic'
tour. July 11th & 12th. Both professional recorded and filmed.
There is a 3LP radio promo box, which contain live from Wembley July
1986. This radio broadcast was mainly from July 11th., and like
the TV broadcast NOT complete concert. I don't have this 2LP
bootleg box. but I have the radio 3LP PROMO box, which as far as I
have found out are from July 11th. So all in all, I have a suspicion
that the source on this 2LP bootleg box, comes from the officially
1992 record. By the way, this album does
not including 'In The Lap Of The Gods....Revisited' & 'Seven Seas Of
Rhye', which following 'Tie You Mother Down'.
Released on BLACK vinyl, and transparent
BLUE vinyl.
The BLUE vinyl release has no barcode on the front cover. |

Well, as I see this, it's just a 'pirated'
bootleg of the official 2LP, 2CD 'Live At Wembley Stadium'. The
track 'Big Spender' was not played on July 11th. |

Info from internet. Almost forty years ago now, the legendary pop-rock icons Queen
played live at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday 12 July 1986.
This special recording captures the entirety of the show, which was
as part of the band's European Magic Tour. The tour came after the
band released their widely successful A Kind of Magic album and so
features plenty of material from it as well as plenty of their 70s
and 80s classics. Coming across four sides of vinyl, it's a hugely
atmospheric listen with plenty of audience noise adding to the
occasion. |
