"JAZZ JAPAN TOUR" has attracted a lot of attention due to the appearance of his impact works "YAMAGUCHI 1979 (Wardour-325)" and "KOBE 1979 (Wardour-327)". A great masterpiece live album recording the scene with a definitive sound is a reprint.
The "April 28, 1979: Nagoya International Exhibition Center" performance is included in such a work. Yes, it is a superb audience recording that gained great popularity in that sold-out title "THE PLEASURE CHEST". As mentioned earlier, this "JAZZ JAPAN TOUR" has recently been hit by new excavations. Since the collection has been quite substantial, let's check the position of this work while arranging it again on the schedule.

・ April 13: "BUDOKAN 1979 1ST NIGHT"
・ April 14: "BUDOKAN 1979 2ND NIGHT"
・ April 19 + 20: "DEFINITIVE OSAKA 1979"
・ April 21: "KANAZAWA 1979"
・ April 23: "PRIDE AND JOY (Japan Budokan)"
・ April 24: Nippon Budokan
・ April 25: "DREAMER'S BALL: BUDOKAN 1979 FINAL NIGHT"
・ April 27: "KOBE 1979"
・ April 28: Nagoya International Exhibition Center ← ★ This work
・ April 30 + May 1: "MEMORIAL GYM (Fukuoka)"
・ May 2nd: "YAMAGUCHI 1979"
・ May 5th + 6th: Makomanai Ice Arena
※ Note: Only representative works each day.

Above, all 15 performances. Not only the largest number of QUEEN visits to Japan, but also the Nippon Budokan 5 performances, famous venues across the country are crowded. Their Japan tour is an average of 8 performances, so it almost doubles the number of episodes at once, and it was a climax of both the name and reality. The collection can be enjoyed with live album except Nippon Budokan the fourth day and Sapporo 2 performances. The Nagoya performance of this work is a concert that hits 10 performances in the second half of such a longest tour.
And this show was also a long-known, unexplored secret area of recording. That aspect has changed in 2008 "MR. FAHRENHEIT (Wardour-060)". There was a shock that experienced a show that no one had ever heard before, but it was only a foreshock. Another recording of the sound more wonderful to be the main shock is a new excavation in 2010. That is what this work is about. Compared with the shocked "MR. FAHRENHEIT", detailed clearness, close distance feeling, on direct feeling, depth feeling up to 3D feeling ... Upgrade sound surpassed in all aspects. It's also a warm on-site sound, so it's not exactly what I'm calling it a "sound board", but the four people's playing sounds and singing voices jumped straight to their hands, and even the fresh sound was overwhelming.

The power of the scene approaching dynamic is also great, but it is especially the low sound scene that you feel the goodness of recording. The piano and acoustic guitars sound delicately, and they are fascinated by their fineness and luster. Please pay attention to the intro of "Death On Two Legs" if it is a piano and "Love Of My Life" if it is an acoustic guitar. Despite the intoxicating cheers, it does not disturb even the delicate acoustics, and even enhances the sentimental mood. And, when Freddie sings, the enthusiasm changes to silence, and Freddie's singing voice echoing throughout the hall permeates the whole body .... What a beautiful thing. A space of beauty that you want to soak forever, the emotion that lives in it. This is the best part of audience recording. It is a name recording that lets you taste it a lot.

The show drawn with such a sound is also great. Coming to Japan in 1979, there were a lot of poor shows by Freddy, especially "April 25" that was televised. The image was not good because the broadcast was too famous, but Nagoya has recovered considerably. Of course, suddenly the best condition! It's not a miracle, but the enthusiasm of recovering from Japan Budokan's misery is reminiscent, and a deeply empathic squeeze of pressure approaches the chest. The sound of this work is so wonderful that you are aware of such subtleties.
This work which even forgot "MR. FAHRENHEIT" of shock. Sold out for great popularity due to its superb quality. The stock which had been sleeping in the warehouse was sometimes received several times, but all of them were all dead. In response to the great popularity of such "JAZZ JAPAN TOUR 1979", the new artwork redesigns and reprints. It is appearance in permanent preservation press 2CD.
