Review from internet page.

The miraculous "CRAZY Tour" has been hailed as "the best in Queen history" and "the ultimate tour." A newly discovered upgraded master of the storyteller recording that conveyed the scene has been released! Furthermore, a top-of-the-line updated version with meticulous mastering by "GRAF ZEPPELIN" has been decided for release!!

Permanently preserved in this work is the "December 4, 1979 Newcastle Performance." This masterpiece audience recording. 1979 is also memorable for the realization of the Japan tour, and it was also the time when the official traditional album "LIVE KILLERS" was created. However, that was the "JAZZ Tour." It is different from this work's "CRAZY Tour." This is also the first release in a long time, so let's start by looking at the position of this work by summarizing the activities at that time.

 ● 1978
 "JAZZ Tour”
 ・ October 28–December 20: North America (35 shows)
 ● 1979
 ・ January 17–March 1: Europe (28 shows) LIVE KILLERS live album recorded.
 ・ April 13–May 6: Japan (15 shows)

 June: Work on "THE GAME" begins.
 ・August 18: Appearance at SAARBRUCKEN OPEN AIR

 October 5: Single "Crazy Little Thing…" released.

 "CRAZY Tour"  UK tour.
・November 22–December 26: UK (20 shows) ←★here★

This is the full picture of the “JAZZ Tour” and “CRAZY Tour.” The “JAZZ Tour” ended with a show in Japan, after which work on their follow-up album, “THE GAME,” began. The album wasn't released until the following year, in 1980, but the tour that preceded it, which was the "CRAZY Tour," was in support of the lead single "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." This tour was known as a miraculous season of great performances every night, and we have archived as many masterpieces as possible. Let's take a look at the dates further here.

 Details of the "UK (CRAZY Tour bootleg cd's)"
 ・November 22-30 (6 shows)
 * December 1: "GLASGOW 1979 2ND NIGHT"
 * December 3: "NEWCASTLE 1979 1ST NIGHT"
 * December 4: Newcastle performance ←★This work★
 * December 6: "LIVERPOOL 1979 1ST NIGHT"
 ・December 7-22 (10 shows)
 * December 26: "HAMMERSMITH ODEON 1979"

[Newly discovered upgraded master of the young generation]
...And that's how it goes. "Newcastle Day 2" is known for its long-standing recordings and has been popular in our shop on CDRs and other media. This work is the same recording, but is a recently discovered young generation master.

The sound is exceptionally fresh. While the previous master's recording itself was clearly good, the rough dubbing marks were undeniable, and it felt like it was on the verge of exploding. However, this new master's jingle is several steps younger, with almost no roughness. Detailed generation information isn't available, so this is just a listening experience, but the previous masters were roughly "3rd/4th generation." In contrast, this new master is an upgrade to the "original/1st generation."

That alone makes it a permanent preservation decision, but this work is also a further refinement with "GRAF ZEPPELIN" mastering. Pitch and phase correction are precise enough not to allow even a 1/1000th of a second of deviation, and balance adjustments are made after frequency band analysis, various noise treatments, etc. As always, this is a further upgraded sound that maximizes the potential of the original sound.

[Full Experience of Queen's 'CRAZY Tour']
The full show of the hailed 'CRAZY Tour', with enhanced sound and generative and refined sound, is a testament to the miraculous sound of the original. The set has been changed from the 'JAZZ Tour', and new songs from 'THE GAME' have also been incorporated. Here, let's compare it with the 'JAZZ Tour' classic 'LIVE KILLERS' and the 'CRAZY Tour' iconic 'HAMMERSMITH ODEON 1979: 2022 TRANSFER (Wardour-531)'.

 A Night at the Opera (6 songs)
 ・Death on Two Legs / I'm In Love With My Car / You're My Best Friend / Love Of My Life / '39 / Bohemian Rhapsody
 News of the World (6 songs)
 ・We Will Rock You (fast)/ Get Down Make Love/ Spread Your Wings/ Sheer Heart Attack/ We Will Rock You/ We Are The Champions
 ・ Other (12 songs)

 Jazz:
 ・ Let Me Entertain You / Mustapha (★) / Don't Stop Me Now

Other: Jailhouse Rock (★)/ Somebody To Love (★)/ Killer Queen/ Save Me (★)/ Now I'm Here / Keep Yourself Alive / Liar (★★)/ Crazy Little Thing Called Love (★)/ Tie Your Mother Down
Note: *★ indicates songs not included on the official traditional album "LIVE KILLERS." In particular, the "★★" marks are songs that weren't even heard on "HAMMERSMITH ODEON 1979," the landmark "CRAZY Tour."

New songs "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Save Me" were also performed, but that's not all. It also marks the oldest recorded opening song, "Jailhouse Rock," and features "Liar," a song that was only performed a handful of times in 1979.

And Freddie's incredible performance in "Liar" is incredible. He's in top form, and his voice is coming out like crazy. He hits astonishing high notes in "'39," and his "Don't Stop Me Now" and "Spread Your Wings" are absolutely beautiful, and his "Bohemian Rhapsody" is perfect. Perhaps it's because he's happy to be able to sing as he pleases, but his excitement is skyrocketing. His passionate singing of "We Are the Champions" is also captivating.

It's truly a miracle. While there are other two-night stellar performances, the "CRAZY Tour" is the only one that delivers such unbeatable performances every night. This album is a cultural heritage that allows you to witness such a miraculous event. GRAF ZEPPELIN has refined this newly discovered young master into a masterpiece. Experience the brilliance of this 2-CD pressing for all time to come.

REMASTERED BY GRAF ZEPPELIN
★ The discs have been changed this time. (The discs change at the cuts.)
★ The same source as the previously released CDR, but pressed at an incredible master level!
Although it's a mono AUD, the sound quality is vastly improved. If the previously released CDRs are 3rd- or 4th-gen releases, this one is more like the original master or 1st-gen release.
The rich sound is incredibly fresh, encompassing everything from high to low frequencies!
There's no sound bias or volume issues, so you can enjoy it stress-free from start to finish!

★A masterpiece audience recording from the "December 4, 1979 Newcastle concert." This recently unearthed, young-gen master has virtually no dubbing marks, resulting in a significantly fresher upgrade. Furthermore, it's a pursuit of the full potential of the original sound, mastered by "GRAF ZEPPELIN." "Jailhouse Rock" opens the album, and the rare 1979 performance of "Liar" is also featured. This is the birth of a new masterpiece that allows you to fully experience the miraculous "CRAZY Tour," where Freddie exploded in his prime.
