A NIGHT AT THE RAINBOW

1 CD

Label: LMP 542.826 2  (matrix no: LORA 74)
Country: Europe
Released: December 2001
Recorded: Rainbow Theatre, London UK, November 19th. or 20th. 1974. + some other live tracks. (see track list for info).
Sound: Excellent soundboard, (Except 'Copenhagen' which is an audience recording).
Comments:  OK cd, but nothing new. All tracks available on other bootlegs.
Personally, I really like this concert. Queen played 2 shows at Rainbow this November.
Info I have was that both was filmed, and this is a mix between both concerts, but I can not confirm this. Might be from just one of the dates. (I guess 20th. was only filmed). Expensive to film both in this early band days.
'Bonus' tracks are taken from other bootlegs. Well, at least most of them. All well known on other bootlegs. I find it unlikely they have used 'new' source of these tracks.
Roots: Rainbow show are originally from 'Box of Tricks' TV-shop releasing '92.  The other tracks are all available on many bootlegs.
Time:  77:52
